Maritime Aquarium Whole School Partnership

For the past three years, our school has partnered with The Maritime Aquarium in a unique science education initiative entitled the Whole School Partnership program.  Aquarium educators work with school administration and teachers to fulfill science curriculum goals and standards in grades K-8.  Collaborating to help improve student achievement, the program touches every class in every grade through inquiry-based hands-on science programs that take place at the school, at the Aquarium, during shoreline exploration,  woodland field study, and marine life study cruises aboard the Aquarium research vessel, Oceanic.
