7th-graders and their 1st grade buddies in the library.

The goal of the All Saints Catholic School library is to foster a love of reading and to provide the tools necessary for independent learning.

The library serves as a resource for all members of the Pre-School through the 8th grade. The purpose of the library program is to develop an appreciation of literature and to support the curriculum. Students visit the library each week individually and in groups. They learn about books of interest, the organization of the library, and how to use the resources of print and electronic media. Students borrow books for recreational and assigned reading.

All students in grades five through eight  use the library’s vast print and non-print resources, including databases and e-books, for research. The library integrates technology and books by having computers available throughout the library. Middle school students are also supported in  fostering a love of reading, by offering a collection of books that can be read for enjoyment, and books that complement the curriculum.
