A Message from the Principal …..

Thank you to all who donated $1.00 for today’s “Out of Uniform Day”.  The monies will go toward our portion of the gift to be given to Bishop Lori to be used for the seminary on the occasion of his promotion to Archbishop of Baltimore.

    Blue Ribbon Testing

The final Blue Ribbon test for the school year will be administered to grades 3- 7 over the next two weeks.  The results of these tests have proven to be invaluable as they relate to your child’s academic performance and the classroom instruction. The results will be sent to you as soon as they are available .

    ACRE Test

On Friday, the 5th and 8th graders will take the ACRE Test of Religious Education.  There is no preparation for this assessment, required by the diocese, which is used as a benchmark to measure the students’ progress in the religion curriculum.  It is also administered to the 12th graders who attend our Catholic High Schools. The school does not receive individual student results, but rather class results.  These results are used by the teacher to inform instruction based on the Religion curriculum map.

    Museum Night

Our Museum Night will be held on May 22 at 6:00 PM.  Please come to see the beautiful artwork that has been created by our students throughout the course of this school year.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the “Art Smarts Moms” who have instructed the students.  It is a wonderful program and I look forward to continuing it next year.

    Plant Sale

The Plant Sale will be held on Thursday and Friday, May 10 and 11 in the school foyer. The plants are just in time for Mother’s Day gifts and for planting for the summer.

    Special Angels Day

Our “Special Angels Day” will be held on Friday, May 11.  Please invite your child’s “Special Angel” to share in this memorable event which begins at 9:00 AM. Please note that this year’s “Special” Angels day will start at 9am and end promptly at 11am. The Cafeteria will open for breakfast at 9am.  If you arrive prior to that please enjoy browsing through our plant sale.  At 10am, Angels will be welcome to visit the children’s classroom until 11am.

    Registration Forms

Thank you to all those families who have returned your registration forms. Our “Take a Look Tuesdays” have brought a lot of traffic to our door this year. We are receiving numerous calls from outside families looking for information about our school. We do not want to give your spot away, but we will have no choice unless the paperwork is returned. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
